Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the MoodPals app for iPhone and Apple Watch and this website. By using MoodPals you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you download MoodPals from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted.

Not medical advice

MoodPals is a wellness app. Stress scores, energy levels, trends and AI responses are estimates based on your own readings and are for general wellness and information only. They are not medical measurements, diagnoses or treatment, and MoodPals is not a medical device. Always talk to a qualified health professional about medical concerns. If you are in crisis or an emergency, contact local emergency services right away (in the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use MoodPals. You can use MoodPals as a guest; some features, such as My Circle and syncing, need an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.

MoodPals Free and MoodPals Plus

MoodPals Free is available at no cost. MoodPals Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds advanced trends and full history, extra customization, expanded circles and up to 100 AI reflections per billing month.

• Price: $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year in the United States; prices in other countries are shown in the App Store before you buy and may vary.
• Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MoodPals. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Free trials and offers: if offered, any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restore Purchases: available in the app under Settings → MoodPals Plus.

We may change Plus features or prices in the future. Price changes follow Apple's rules and you'll be notified in advance.

My Circle rules

My Circle is for people who know and trust each other. Please only invite people you know, respect their choices about sharing, and don't use MoodPals to harass, threaten or pressure anyone. You can remove anyone from your circle at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. Report a problem to hello@moodpals.com.

Your content

Your check-ins, diary entries and other content belong to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide MoodPals to you and to deliver what you choose to share.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse MoodPals: no reverse engineering, interfering with the service, accessing other people's data, or using it for anything illegal.

AI features

AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or crisis decisions.

Disclaimers and liability

MoodPals is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, MoodPals is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Ending use

You can stop using MoodPals at any time and ask us to delete your data by emailing hello@moodpals.com. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and let you know about material changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use MoodPals after changes take effect means you accept them.
